You need a hoster. Do you have one? Or do you have a server that has a public static IP?

This option is usually available inside your IDE that you're using to publish your website to the hosting service you're using. First step is to purchase a subscription plan for your website, to place your web documents online for the users to surf and browse. ASP.NET has some of their official partners that you might feel interested in having a looking at.

Not only this, you can also host your websites at Microsoft Azure, you can get the link to this service on the link I have suggested to your above. Read those links and there are chances that you're going to learn how to upload your website to their servers through themself by reading their manuals.

5ed. I would add that self-hosting is also quite possible, but... OP need to look at the comment to the question by RyanDev. :-)
Also, there are many other Web hosting businesses not listed in the page your referenced. It takes some serious shopping. I would advice just one thing: don't buy before you try. Some business provide decent trial period before getting to payed service.

Hi Member 11372718,

1. You need to register your domain name and find hosting provider that support for asp.net. You can find it on http://www.asp.net/hosting. I would recommend you asphostportal.com.

2. Once you have registered for hosting provider, then you can upload all your files via FTP to your root folder.

3. Dont forget to check your connection string and setup your default page.

Done, your site is online now. :)
