Drawing Vertical Lines In Crystal reports in Visual Studio2008

Hi All,

I'm new to crystal reports. I want to draw vertical lines in the detail part of my report. Actually I want to separate my columns by vertical line.
I tried with line object. But I'm able to draw only horizontal line. What I've to do to draw vertical lines?

Yes . I got the answer. Insert line object by right click .
Rightclick -> Insert->line :laugh: :) ;)

I was able to draw a vertical line without a problem. Perhaps you have some kind of setting on that is preventing you from doing the same. You might want to try turning off the Snap to Grid option. (It's in Design-Default Settings on the Layout tab) Or maybe try looking for other default settings that might prevent it.

Another option, if that doesn't work, would be some kind of work around where you use a text object or a box object and shut off the borders on the top, bottom, and one of the sides and use that to make the vertical line.
