Hi,

i have worked on Asp.net and SQL server for 2 and half years, currently i am pursuing my masters. I am willing to work on share point and SQl server for the next few years and then go for DBA.

i am planning to do certifications in SQL, which is the best starting certification i can do now that will help in my career.

I want have few suggestions from you, it would be really helpful for me if you give your suggestion.

Thank you.

None. Certifications have nothing to do with education and real knowledge. But you decide yourself. I think this is totally off-topic.

I have found that certifications only benefit you when you don't yet have real world experience. However, since you have 2 1/2 years of experience I don't think a certification will help much unless your company wants you to do it.

However, here is the MCP site, http://mcp.microsoft.com and the certifications site, https://www.microsoft.com/learning/en-us/certification-overview.aspx[^]
