approval and reject workflow in share point 201 0 using share point designer

Hi Team ,

i created the one document level work flow in sharepoint 2010 using sharepooint designer but in this work flow reject(cannel ) is not working .

details:
1) i created the document library
2) design work flow using shrepoint designer
3) when i upload the document it shows the ststus is "in process"
4) when i click the "in process" then wrkStat.aspx page is open , in this page i click in edit item , it shows two buttons one."complete task ", two. "close "
5) when i click on "complete" task it shows the status is "completed "
6) when i click on "cancel" task it shows the status is "in process "

how to get the status "inprocess" to "reject or canceled"

i am using the "work flow status reject"
"work flow status canceled"
" end work flow "
