Design suggestion for Videos upload website

Hi every one,
I want to develop a web site.

This website contain approximately 600 Gb video data and 550 Gb audio data. What will be the best strategy to accomplish this?

My idea's:
1. Have a web hosting "mochahost", upload all data on it.
2. Upload website on one server and keep a dedicated personal video or music server.

I am very much worried about, if thousands of user download my data at same time, my site must not be crashed.

Solution 1

You could use, for instance, Amazon S3[^] or similar to store all of the video/audio items and serve them from a web site hosted wherever is suitable for you.
