Genetic Algorithms (GA)

Hi,

I am doing a project on Genetic algorithms for Intrusion detection. I have the data(input) taken from the KDD cup 99 data set. I want to encode that data which will be the first step in GA. Can anyone help me choosing the encoding method.

Encode from what to what? Your question is too vague to be easily answered, try to rephrase your requirement with some more specific detail.
