I got the following error when I run a vb.net project. Project already installed in the system. It is based on vb.net 2008, SQL server 2000, crystal report 2008:

Solution 1

Expected Version of Crystal Assemble was not found on the system and hence the error.

Make sure this is present:
CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine, Version=10.5.3700.0

Once you provide the correct version of the Crystal dll, you should not get this error.

libraries for crystal reports are missing

Solution 3

you are using VS 2008 with Crystal Report Basic 2008 on deployment

1.Go to the deployment project's properties page.
2.Click the "Prerequisites" button.
3.Add the "Crystal Reports Basic for Visual Studio 2008"

It may also require the "Windows Installer 3.1"
