I have a newbie question.

If I'm working on specific class that has some new sourcecode, in my local computer, and I still continue working with it. I'm using the solution with sourcecode that is a old version.

Suddenly, a new version of a solution with new sourcode that has been release and I need to "Get the latest version" in VS community 2013 and and use the new version + working on my class that before I cann upload it to the server. The new sourcecode that I have created in my class will be used by other people.

My question is:

When I use the functionality "Get the latest version" in VS community 2013 and I still continue working on the class, I will have two different version of the class, what does VS community 2013 enable to do? How should it be working about the merging part?

Thanks!

If you are not sure, you do a backup of your files, read the documentation and try it. If ever, it does mot works as you think, you still have your backup.
