How to Remove the Extra WorkBook when Creating Excel File in VB.NET

HI I am creating excel files
using Interop
and saving them in a Particular Folder.

But my problem is that When I am Opening the created
Excel File by double clicking ,
a new empty Workbook Book1 is also getting opened.

what is the Problem am not able to understand.
Please assist in solving this Issue.

Check the contents of folder c:\documents and settings\YourUsername\application data\microsoft\excel\XLSTART - it needs to be empty.
Also check that Excel has been properly closed by your program

I have checked that folder and is empty.
Also I have closed the excel in program .
But the Issue is not solved.

Solution 1

Without seeing your code that creates the workbook object, it's impossible to tell you what's going on. Also, which version of Excel are you writing a file for?
