I was reading the forum on my tablet in Chrome today and noticed that often when opening a child post there was a gray line running down the middle of the page. In this screenshot it begins with the "h" in the parent of the post I have open and continues down to the title of the message I'm viewing.

It was the connectors that point to the parent message. I've disabled them on touch devices in general.

If someone replies to a message I've posted, but the reply is held in the moderation queue, the notification badge is still shown. Once I've clicked on the notification, I won't be notified again once the message is released.
It would be better if the notification didn't appear until the reply is available for me to view.

Hi,
Just wanted to know if we have any official codeproject mobile app just like LinkedIn?
I use LinkedIn app and the notifications and other cool features really helps me keep updated with my professional social group.
Similar codeproject app would also be more helpful, i feel.
Please let me know if it already exists.

The UI for code project is good but i have a feeling of 15 yrs old website when I open it.
Is there any plan to have a modern responsive UI that follows a certain pattern like Metro UI or Material UI.
Since last few years, I mostly prefer reading technical article on my mobile and code project lacks from some of responsive mobile friendly features compared to other new websites.
Being a big fan of code project over 13+ years, I would really want to see the code project in really nice re-design and more organized articles.
May be, having a competition of re-designing codeproject UI helps, if there is no plan already. May the best UI win and get implemented.
Any thoughts?

Interestingly the current UI is actually a Metro design.
We're always open to ideas on what you'd like to see tweaked or changed. Any specific thoughts on organising articles?

At the moment I can edit any question _and_ answer in Q&A what I very seldom do. If it is not my answer I see no reason to edit the answer. In case I do it it is only to correct some minor typos. But to be honest I do not need this right.
On the other hand:
I'm not allowed to edit a post in Spam&Abuse. Why not? Here it would make sense to let me edit a post to keep the forum small
Only a thought from my side.

Are you trying to edit your own post, or somebody else's? I think editing other people's forum posts is limited to protectors.
QA posts are a different beast - your name appears against the edited post, and your changes are visible in the revision history, so it would be easy to spot any abuse.

Protectors for sure, but I suppose that site builders and subeditors can too.

The highlight of the "spam" menu option stretches across the full width of the menu, but you can only click on the word itself. Probably due to the rule:

It's a bit more than that. I switched to using flexbox for the layout which has fixed it. (next deploy).
