I have been working in web application and its taking too long time( as an experiment I used a stopwatch to get the time 20 seconds ... ) http://colspace.sytes.net:999/rdemo/[^] I veryfied the time it takes in server side ... its 0.01-0.02 seconds.(The time gap between page_load and pre_render) But in client side starting from the HTML line 1 to end of the HTML its taking almost 18-20 seconds. Can anyone please tell me what are the steps can be taken to load page faster in browser? I have been using 1. ASP.NET 2.0 2. Master pages. 3. ICallBackEventHandler 4. The home page thats taking 20 seconds is having lots of images and sizes sumes upto 150 KB. The problem seems to be the number of images on your home page. If you can give me bit more info regarding this profiler it would be much helpfull. And images part I have beening working on. Trying to reduce the image size.
