Well, now i'm curious as to what timeframe this operates on.
Variations on this quotation have been attributed to a great many people. The age at which one is supposed to become conservative is usually 30 or 40.

It could be that he is just trying to defend his change of allegiance through his life. During the First World War he was elected as a member of the Liberal Party (or what ever they were called - they keep changing their name) and he was Prime Minister during the Second World War as a member of the Conservative Party.
I wouldn't worry about it. When I was in high school my dad described my politics as "somewhere to the far right of Margaret Thatcher". I think I've become a bit more centred as I've passed through my twenties.

Many long days ago, i posted a message here[^] describing an informal contest to see who could put the best beard on Bob. To follow the instructions to the letter, you would cause a beard to appear on Bob's face as he stands guard over the top of the page.
Shawn Wilde is the only person who completed the task *exactly*. Others were content with providing screenshots demonstrating they had completed the task, or just providing images of a bearded Bob wandering apart from CP.
Here's how i'm ranking contestants at present; if anyone cares to correct me on my estimation of a person's skill, please reply with your take on who's best, who's better - i'll accept a 1-5 rating on each contestant :

I actually forgot all about this over xmas - I was 1/2 cut when I did it in the first place hence the crappy graphic
Codeproject has since changed the text output rules so onmouseover no longer works - however OnMouseUp does so I have changed the code on my pages so you now have to click the text
Technically speaking the dictionary would define Visual Basic users as programmers.
But here again, a very generalized, liberal definition is being employed and it's wrong
