IOAudioChannel alternate in XP to capture Audio channel

Like Vista and window 7 by using MFC IOAudioChannel interface we can access Audio sound stream from any player. Similarly, what would be the option for accessing audio channel for Windows XP from any player?

I expect window multimedia functions may support that but not sure.

Solution 1

I think you can use mixerSetControlDetails function.In front of you use it,you must use mixerOpen and so on.Input "mixer" in MSDN,you can find more information.
