Hi,

This question is with regard to creating views in SharePoint.
I am trying to create a view on SharePoint list where i want a filter to select only those rows where Department is equal to E&TC but it's not happening.

It's because of '&' sign.

Also it's indexed column so i cannot apply "begins with"

How to filter such values using Views in SharePoint?

Thanks.

Try E%26TC and see if that works

Another way around this is to create a calculated field whiches replaces the * with "-", and then use that to filter. Not clean but can work.

Hi,
Try the department value as "E_x0026_TC".
