unable to publish the project because of failed to build

Hello

I have created 2 projects(outlook add-in, setup) having one solution and added the output of outlook add-in project in setup project. I have successfully build both projects and solution. but whenever i am trying to publish outlook add-in from properties window its displaying error message as: "Cannot publish because a project failed to build".

Please give me solution for this.

Solution 1

In the development environment, make sure you do a build with the 'release' option rather than with the 'debug' option.
Very often, there is a difference between release and debug build.
