My question is as simple as it seems..

I have a simple form application (developed in VS 2010, .Net 4.0) located in my metro style app's installation directory (OR i can put it where metro app wants to run it).

I just want to run that form application. I have already tried LaunchFileAsync method from Launcher class, but it works fine with other type of files such as text files, but it fails when i try to run an executable file..

Help please, its urgent.... Thanks in advance...

This is not possible. "Metro" apps can't launch other applications, metro or desktop.

Launching an executable from a Windows Store app is blocked for security reasons.

You wouldn't want to download an app from the Store and just have it kick off any process it wanted to. :)

There might be workarounds, but an app that does that would never make it past the Certification process.
