I have located the node to insert,
this is the below code:

xnlNodes = xelRoot.SelectNodes("/batchAnswer/document/answers")[docIndex].ChildNodes;

but want to know to insert the sub XML node?

Try to use XmlNode.AppendChild-Methode, is very good documented!
