Excel type spreadsheet in asp.net

Hello Friends,

I want to make excel type spreadsheet in asp.net.

The spreadsheet must be editable and also allow shorting in that.

Is there any jquery plugin or any other third party control for that?

Solution 1

It took Microsoft millions of man hours to make excel.
What makes you think you can produce a spreadsheet in a few days?
Seriously, do not re-invent the wheel.

There are plug-ins for spreadsheets, and if you don't wish to use excel, use one for the Open Office Spreadsheet.

You could try Display MS Excel Sheets and Charts in ASPX Pages using C#[^] if you've got Excel installed.
