Audit trial in sql server to track changes in the table

Dear Friend,
I request you to send the logic or source code for audit trail in sql server.
Whenever some changes are made in the critical forms, there should be a trail for it. This will help the company know the changes made from time to time. The tracking of these changes would be through this Audit trail form.

Audit trail should main the previous data and current data (modified data) along with the modified user, time, date etc....

Solution 1

What I did in my previous project was to insert a script on the stored procedures that will insert to the audit trail table. So if you are using stored procedures, this logic might work.
