You should refer to http://www.asp.net/get-started[^] with dozens of tutorials and HowTos. Just do the beginner Tutorials step by step (also many of them as video tutorials) and you'll get a feeling for designing web pages with asp.net and VS.

As you are beginning with Visual Studio it may seems to be difficult for you. But really it's not. My suggestion is, buy a ASP.NET book and try practicing with VS. Read articles and tutorials from net and try to practice. Then everything will be simple.

You Know the Coding Standards of Vs2008 then its is not a problem in Vs2010 just its Updated Version.Some New Concepts is Involved.So learn through Google.
