Migrating from Access to SSCE

Hi,
I have an application with databases in MS Access. I want to migrate that to SSCE.
I have converted all the databases. Problem is with datasets.

Do I need to make all new datasets or there is a way to convert the existing ones to SSCE datasets?

Solution 1

To be safe, you probably have to create new datasets as the data types between OleDb and SqlServer are different. There is no conversion tool.

Agree with Dave Kreskowiak, better to re-create the datasets. Also before doing it, check that you have all proper PK's and FK's in place and the conversion didn't loose any of them.
