General rule - forget about the browsers back button. That's on the client and it's not yours to disable. Instead, you should use the techniques described in the article so that if the user does click the back button, your site works in the correct way - e.g redirects to a login page or whatever.

What is it you are trying to achieve? Why don't you want the user to go back to the previous page?
