Google Map Markers with InfoWindow

I am using the following example to mark places on the google map.

All i want to know is, will it be possible to have a popup open next to the marker asking the user to enter the city. As soon as the user marks a place on the map, a pop up or info window should open with a text box in it.

User enters the city, the marker moves to the city accordingly (this is to ensure that the user has not placed the marker at a wrong place by mistake.
