Have anyone tried to use database.com to demonstrate a cloud database service ?

I have recently found this cloud database service provided from database.com, I successfully registered and created a table.
After downloading their IDE (Force.com IDE) I am unable to connect to the website while creating a new project.
So please if anyone used Database .com before please show how to establish a basic connection.
