.net 3.5 rendering mode property

Is rendering mode = table property of menubar supported in .net 3.5 .. i have not been able to use StaticTopSeparatorImageUrl and levelsubmenustyles features because as per my knowledge, these tag requires rendering mode to be table which is not supported..
