I have been working on ASP.Net 3.5 in C#. I have been working in Engineering Company. Last week, I have been asked for something, what I have mentioned below.
At the entrance of the Office, there is on LCD Television hang up on the Wall. We have one Web Based application which is developed on ASP.Net 3.5 and Backend SQL Server 2005. This web application is used for the Engineering Projects, where deliverables have been set by the different HODs. The Sr. Vice President wants that, on LCD Television which is hanging up @ entrance of the Office, shows the Live Status of all the Projects as News Channels show the Stake Market Data at the bottom of the Television. The LCD has the Wi-Fi connector, through which it can be connect the Wi-Fi networks and also have the facility to connect with the Dedicated PC.
I have setup my mind little bit for this as, I will make one Web Service which will be used to fetch the latest Status of the Project and one Windows Service which periodically call that web service. But my big worry is how I can show the data on TV, like News Channel shows the Stake Market Data on bottom of the TV Screen and rest of the things keep showing on the TV.
If anyone has idea, then kindly guide me.
