how to install iis express on windows 7 without installing it

Hi All,

I have a big doubt on IIS Express.

Is it the case we anyway have to install IIS express to start it , or is there a way we can start it without installing it on a machine.

I have a web application which is to run on a machine without IIS or IIS Express, I had a solution of first starting the IIS express and then running my web application on it.

But i guess we have to install IIS Express on the machine , then only it will start IIS Express.

Can Somebody clear my doubt Pls.

Solution 1

Yes, you will have to install it before you can run it. It's a small install and easy to do.

I guess , There is no other way out than to install IIS Express.
