I Just want to know how can i show inserted item's in numbers

like - if i insert 10 values in pageone.aspx , then i want to show value 10 in label on other page
like facebook show no. of unseen messages

2-step

And on the click of that label i want to show those 10 values in grid view... when i click
any of 10 value then values of selected item should be filled in textboxs

i hope i am able to explain my question .......

so please help me out THE GREATE PROGRAMMER'S

We do not do your homework: it is set for a reason. It is there so that you think about what you have been told, and try to understand it. It is also there so that your tutor can identify areas where you are weak, and focus more attention on remedial action.

Try it yourself, you may find it is not as difficult as you think!

Read your notes for the course, and think about what you have been told: this isn't complicated, and you should find everything you need - it just needs you to think a bit and understand what you have been told so far.
