How do I run my ASP .net application in IE11 in windows8

Hi Dear All,

Could any one please tell me How to run my asp .net application in IE6 in windows8.
I have made a website in asp .net framework 4.0. Presently it works in IE7 and IE8. But when ever I tried to open this application in IE8 it loads and suddenly closes with out showing the start up page.My application uses a java applet for its working. This application is intended to read an Emirates Identity Card. So I am not able to avoid this java applet.Also this applet will not work if the installed java is updated.(it can work with Java 6(TM) Update 21.If I update the java then the application will not work.). Kindly help me if any one has any idea about this.

Solution 1

Run your application in IE Browser then,

click F12 ->choose Emulation (last menu) ->under this you can able to see document mode and user agent string.here you can change IE Browser version.

Hi Oliver grace. Thank you very much for your reply. I have tried this but still it is not working.
When ever I tried to run this application in IE11 it closes the browser before loading the first page.
