How to print using thermal printing

Hello,

I have one application in which i want to print a bill receipt. Its a POS System.

I have a Star Thermal Printer. I am new in Hardware level programming.

i have "

STAR TSP700 Thermal Printer

" printer.

how can i integrate Printer in my application.

please suggest me the logic behind printing in pos system.

application is in

WPF, C#.

Please suggest me how can i accomplish.

Is there no standard printer driver for it which allows to use it like any other printer?

Solution 1

You should talk to the people who created it - they should provide technical support and will know more about their product than we will. If they don't, then find another supplier and demand your money back!

Download and install the proper driver from here: http://www.starmicronics.com/support/default.aspx?printerCode=TSP700II[^]
After that it is like any other printer in the system...
