I am working on an inventory application to replace a current excel spreadsheet.Any suggestions on what might be the best method to store and update data that is indexed by a bar code?

Solution 1

I would suggest a class that holds all the properties of the Barcode, and simply create a List (of YouClass).

Thanks,Sounds like a good place to start. I am limited to using only .net and have considered importing the excel data into S.Q.L.. Any suggestions for a good front end?
