unable to add new SQL database to C# Asp.net

hi Im unable to create sql database in ASP.net
it says that sp_configure I should enable it, so not exactly sure what should I do and as far as I understood this is a common problem for developers.

Have you tried searching Google? If it's a common problem then you'll find the (useful) common answer...

well yes I searched but non of the answers were useful, I still keep searching, but I didn't lose the opportunity to take a help from codeProject programs cause I learnt 99% of the programming here is CodeProject

Aah... my apologies then. Perhaps try saying what you've tried in your question (i.e. what solutions you have looked at when browsing Google) so that people (like myself) understand this is not another one of those trivial questions (of which CP seem to get so many... :S )

It is not a common problem that I recognize. Most applications use previously created databases and don't create them. What is your goal?

I want to design a login page, so I need to also create a sql table

The database for logins should be created when your application is deployed and not created by a page in the application.

The built-in ASP.NET login controls use the ASPNETDB database that is created using this tool.

Solution 1

Create the database ahead of time. Do not use ASP.Net to create the database.
