Compilation error(report name) in SSRS

Hi
I am getting this error after i renamed the rdl : "An error occured during local report processing. Report XXX cannot be compiled.Verify the report name ansd that the report is in the current project". What I have to do. Pls suggest...

Hi ,

First check the reports in your BIDS that it is working fine and shows the result, and deploy it once then it will work fine.

Solution 1

You already shared the root reason of the issue. You have renamed the report and thus the reference too needs an update. If you have deployed the report on report server, you need to have a new copy of the renamed report and the report that references it.

First check the reports in your BIDS that it is working fine and shows the result, post that look at the implementation on how it is being displayed in your project/application.

It's your project. Based on the error, its clearly being used somewhere. You need to see where all you have put it. Report server? Project directory? SSRS directory?
