sir , i m doveloping windows application and database Made in sql server2008 R2 but Client Required Data base in Ms Access... i made data table in ms Access 2010 and with the help of Internet because i m use ms access data base first time .. so ..
save and publish database ... problem is how to protect client only save and use database does not modify it so how to do that task , how to prevent change open database file in ms access and modified it ... and also one more question is:: i want to back up of ms Access database in Client machine for long time to use Data ...

and use this connection string for password protected db file

C#

Provider=Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0;Data Source=C:\myFolder\myAccessFile.accdb;
Jet OLEDB:Database Password=MyDbPassword;
