Hi Rehman,

When I was in Final year I too struggled the same way as you are in now.

Some tips you should take care of:

Language - C#,ASP.Net,MVC Razor,Azure(Should be industry wanted and it should help you to learn something from it)
Domain - Retail, Logistics,Entertainment, HealthCare etc., (It is optional since you are in Academic side this is nothing to worry about)
DB - SQLServer,Oracle,MySQL, SQLLite(Same as Language)

You can create some windows based application for daily use like English to English dictionary with word adding capabilities, language translation or something.
It will definitely help you to understand the requirement.

Updated solution:

Then you can do some internal project for your department like Department Leave management, where student can apply for leaves to their head, Professors apply leave to his/her reporting Head. According to that he/she may accept or reject the leave.
Track leave details, Attendance management system etc.,

Hope this helps you a bit.

Note: Do not copy paste dictionary code in to your project, try to make use of it, here user interface is important. ;-)

Regards,
RK

Technical points in the sense? Try to use some google chart to visualize those things, Different roles here plays a vital role(Student, Professor, HOD, Admin). You should explain the complexity behind it to them otherwise they would think its a simple project its my opinion.

i had proposed this idea.... so faculty want some technical in it like in broad way,

1- Advance swift communication system(ASCS)
ASCS is an application which will provide fast and easy way of communication with people (i.e. students) vie SMS and E-mail service. Teacher or authority of institute can send alert regarding different things (like admission, interviews etc.). e.g. teacher can send attendance, class related alerts, assignment, and lectures etc.

System will send the following to students (Via SMS and Email).

• Timetable alert, 10 minutes before commencing of class.
• Course content covered within class.
• Attendance status to the student on daily basis.
• Exam date sheet.
• Exam result.
• Workshop / seminars alerts.
• University opening / Closing information.
• Alert of admission information to new comers.
• Any curricular or extracurricular event alert.
• Any urgent information from University admission.
You really need to generate an idea by yourself. I can give you some ideas on how to generate some ideas. To start with, some general points:
it's good to search for ideas with your fellow students and your friends, the best software it the one you do for yourself, so thing about your hobby and everyday needs, think if your project can help other people.

Please see some more detail in my past answers:
