Weekly Newsletter (20 Apr 2015)

Is Your Android App Compatible with Fire?

One thing that makes a developer happy is having someone use their application. In the spirit of helping developers get more people using their apps we've teamed up with Amazon to give our Android developers a crazy simple way to test whether their application will work on the Amazon Fire platform.

On our homepage is an Android APK tester. Drag and drop your APK onto the testing area and within a minute or two you get a full report on your application, and hopefully your app in a new store. Some trivia: Chitika reported that at the end of 2014 Amazon Fire tablets were more popular than Samsung tablets. Food for thought.
